The car wash was originally designed by another architect and received a building permit with Ekona Architecture + Planning as the architect of record. Prior to construction the Owner needed to have the project remodeled to meet budget and plan constraints. The remodeled design met these requirements, transforming an eyesore into a positive element of the Berkeley environment.
